Many people
suffering from inflammatory problems such as arthritis and allergies often skip
their daily routines because of the pain and limited actions caused by this
condition. Although some stages of inflammation are tolerable and disappear
through time, many health conditions that have this symptom can cause
recurrence and most of the time leads to permanent physical debilitation.
To relieve inflammation, most of us resort to anti-inflammatory drugs such as steroids and NSAIDs to reduce the pain and control the reaction. Though these drugs get the job done, taking them may mean exposing ourselves to certain health risks. Steroids can cause sudden weight gain and suppress the immune system; which may lead to dangerous complications. NSAIDs on the other hand, may lead to digestive and renal problems, not to mention, heart attacks and death for high risk patients.
